VETERANS' ASSOCIATION

MEMBERS ELECTED FOR ' YEAR Mr A. H. Joseph presided at the annual meeting of the Veterans* Association of Army, Navy, and Auxiliary Forces. There was a good attendance. The annual report made special reference to the death of King George, and to the deaths of four members of the association since the last annual reuhion-rMessrs W. J. Hussey, H. Thompson, Albert L. Clarke, and L. Reeves. Seven new members had been elected, the report said, and the balance-sheet showed an improvement. Thanks were given to all who had assisted the association. The balance-sheet showed receipts as £SOB 3s 2d., and expenditure as ' £216 13s 6d. Assets were £2764 0s 3d, and liabilities £1429.
