Gene Venzke has re-established himself, as one of the leading American contenders at the coming Olympic Games. At Madison Square Garden to-night he broke the world's indoor record for the 1500 in the amazing time of 3min 49 0-lOsec, beating his old rival. Glen Cunningham, by two yards.
