WHANGAREI, February 22. The Government steamer Hiatal, after taking 90 tons of fresh water aboard at Rawene yesterday, stranded off Tapuwai Flats through mistaking a turning. The fresh water was -discharged and the vessel floated off at high tide undamaged.
