WELLINGTON TITLES DECIDED

WELLINGTON, February 23,
The Wdlington cycling championships were held at the Petone Oval on Saturday. The thousand metres event was partly robbed of interest by the disqualification of K. Ulmer, but the finishes vere exciting and the racing good. Results:—
Thousand Metres—Les Sowerby 1, Len Sowerby 2. 800 Yards (Junior)—P. Roe 1, W. Keighley 2, H. Biggs 3. Time, 63 l-ssec. One Mile (Junior)—H. Biggs 1, C. McGurk 2, W. Keighley 3. Time, 2min 7 4-ssec.
Thousand Metres Time Trial—R. Ulmer, lmin 18 2-ssec, 1; T. Roe, lmin 20 l-ssec, 2; Len Sowerby, lmin 20 2-ssec, 3.
