TAYLOR'S DYEWORKS , —l_ RESULTS OR SPORTS EVENTS ——— _, . The prospect of rain did not daunt- the" spirits of the 250 who attended Taylor's Dyeworks annual picnic held at the Selwyn Huts. Although it rained' heavily during the luncheon period, the sun came, through later and the afternoon was beaiK tifully fine. Because of the untiring work of the committee, consisting of Misseß K. Stokes, D. Toombs, H. Donaldson (secretary), Messrs C. H. Taylor, sen., F. Beckett (chairman), S. Oats, S. Griffiths, and R. Menzles, the day was a great success;' everyone enjoying themselves thoroughly. Ice cream and soft drinks were provide*} for' everyone, as well as sweets for the children. . ■,' . t f Mr- C. H.
