■ TO THE EDITOR OF THE: PBESB. Sir, —Have you any records, or have any of your readers, to show whether the" flood just experienced in Canterbury : is : larger than the February, 1868, flood? To my mind this recent flood is the largest we have had in Canterbury since May, 1923. Perhaps some of you readers may enlighten me.—Yours, etc., CURIOUS. Oxford, February 21, 1936.
