SUCCESSFUL PICNIC
A very enjoyable picnic was held recently by the members and friends of the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church Mothers’ meeting, when a special car conveyed them to Johnson’s Fish Ponds. The time was spent in games and races. Lunch and afternoon tea was provided by the leaders and committee. Races were ruh and the following were the Winners:—Mesdames Pitcher, Gprley, Babcock, Johnston, ju., Malicqmn, Miller, Learie, Yates, Carney, Newsome, and Misses Tyler and Harrison. The Rev, L. A. North presented the prizes, after which Mrs Reed, one of the members, presented Miss Sheate (convener of the tea committee) with a small, gift as a token of appreciation of services rendered week by week at the meetings.
