NEW BRIGHTON CASH CLUB The New Brighton Cash Cycling Club held a 10-mile race over the usual course, beginning at the Bower bridge, on Thursday, when 21 riders started. R. Weir, H. Smither, and W. Lamberton conceded a start of three and three-quarter minutes to F, Underhay. Lamberton lost all chance of winning the race when he ran off the course in some loose shingle at the first bend. The winner, R. Slack, was in a good position for the rest of the journey after the first round, and in a' well-timed sprint beat H. Hobson by inches, with A. Howison a length further back, third.
