DISTRIBUTION OF MEDALS IN AUSTRALIA

The names of recipients of Royal Jubilee medals, of which the Australian quota is 6500, were partially announced to-day. They include people in all walks of lite, engaged in almost every form of community service. Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith was one of those who received a medal. The number of recipients in New South Wales is about 1800, while 1450 have been reserved for Commonwealth distribution.
