HARMONIC SOCIETY
Music lovers will be presented with a superb programme at the Harmonic Society's concerts this week. The choir has been practising twice weekly for some time in preparation for its successful trip to Duuedin and the forthcoming concerts, and it hau never been in such goad form as at present. The music chosen by Mr V. C. Peters is varied and popular, and will appeal equally to the classical taste and the general public. The society has the greatest confidence in recommending its supporting artists, particularly the Misses Bucklin, 'cellist and violinist, who are paying a short visit to New Zealand from America, where they enjoy a high and merited reputation. ' In conjunction with Mr Frederick Page, the taK ented Christchurch pianist, they will present some delightful numbers. Mr Claude O'Hagan, baritone, will also appear. The box plan is now open at Clias. Begg and Company's office, and those desirous of good seats should book at once.
