NEW WHARF FOR NAPIER

TENDER ACCEPTED (»BB3S ABSOCIATXO* TELSOIUH.* NAPIER, May 4. The Harbour Board to-day accepted the tender of F. Goodman, of Gisborne, of £62,772 for the construction of a wharf at the breakwater for ocean vessels.

NINE SHIPS ALLOTTED

The following ships have been allotted to load in New Zealand during May and June:— Commonwealth and Dominion Line The Port Sydney is due at New Plymouth on May 13 from Liverpool. She is then to go to Auckland, Napier, and Wellington, and is to leave Wellington on May 30 for London, via «Jape Horn. The Port Darwin is due at Port Chalmers from Australia to load on May IC. From there she will go to Lyttelton, Wanganui, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. She is to leave Auckland finally on June 5 for New York, Southampton, and London, via Panama. Federal Line The Federal Company advises that the Kent, at present at Auckland, is to load at Opua, Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, and Wanganui. She leaves Wanganui on May 22 for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. The Durham is to load at Bluff on Mav 27, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth.
