CHATHAM ISLANDS DROWNING
♦ BODY RECOVERED The body of D. Daymond, one of two men who were carried out to sea in. a disabled launch from Waitangi, Chatham Islands, during a gale about five weeks ago, was recovered oa April 22. Arrangements hacl been made to hold a memorial service to the men that day, and shortly before the commencement of the service the botfy was discovered on the beach.
