AEROPLANE CRASH NEAR SYDNEY
o I I PILOTS '!"I!I!iI) ACCIDENT ON SHARK I'ATlif)!; (Received April 14, 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 14. In his third accident while living a shark patrol aeroplane, Ernest Collibee, aged 30, received head and bodily injuries. His passenger, John Harrison, aged 24, broke a leg. The engine failed while they were flying near Manly, and Collibee attempted to land in a paddock, but capsized the machine in trying to avoid children playing there. The aeroplane was wrecked. Mr Col]ibcc's condition is serious.
