SENTENCE OF IMPRISONMENT
(F*K3B A3SOCUTIOW TELKORAU.) BLENHEIM, April 13. John "William Grossi, residing at Wairau Valley, appeared on remand this morning before Messrs W. D. Pike and W. D. Stevenson, Justices of the Peace, charged with attempted indecent assault upon a young girl at Wairau Valley. Sergerant famythe was granted permission to reduce the charge to common assault, and accused pleaded guilty. A clause recommending some form of medical control was added to the sentence of two months' imprisonment.
