SATURDAY (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M.) George James Prendergast, aged 68, was fined 20s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, for drunkenness. CHILDREN'S COURT (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M., and Mrs T. E. Taylor, J.P.) For cycling at night without a light a boy aged 16 was fined 2s 6d. For the same offence a boy aged 1G was fined Is. A girl aged 1G was admonished and discharged for cycling on the footpath in Colombo street, Sydenham.
