I OPENING OF AIR SERVICE.' Squadron Leader J. L. Findlay, officer commanding at the Wigram Aerodrome, left Christchurch yesterday in the Puss Moth machine of the Royal New Zealand Air Force for Wellington, and will fly the acting-Prime Minister, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, to Gisborne to-day for the opening of the air service between Napier and Gisborne. Mr J. J. Busch, commercial pilot to the Canterbury Aero Club, after a trip to Hokitika and back on Friday. fie\v to Dunedin on Saturday with Messr... W. S. Crossing and W. Burns, cf Sydney, as passengers. He returned yesterday with his passengers and proceeded on to Wellington and Auckland.
