WIUKLKSS SET INSTALLED Tin steamer Gale, which was recently sold by the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company to an Australian firm, sailed from Lyttclton on Saturday afternoon for Melbourne. She is to be renamed Wannon, and will br engaged in the Australian coastal trade. Before the vessel's departure a wireless set of the latest design was installed in the vessel by the new owners. NI'ODEA FOR ORDERS The British India steamer Nuddea, which recently discharged basic slag at Auckland and New Plymouth under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company and has since been lying in New Plymouth roadstead, arrived in the stream at Wellington on Thursday afternoon to await orders.

NORFOLK LOADING In ballast from London, the Federal steamer Norfolk reached Auckland on Thursday morning to commence her Homeward loading. She is to leave there again to-da.v for Gisborne, Napier. Wanganui, LyUolton, and Wellington to complete. The vessel is .scheduled to cicar Wellington finally on May 4 for London, Avonmouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, and Glasgow.

The vessel is now to leave Lyttelton to-day lor the islands, calling at Waitangi, Owenga, Kaingaroa, and Pitt Island. She will return to Lyttelton and will proceed to Wellington to discharge fish. The Tees will probably then return to Lyttelton again to lay up. HURUNUI DELAYED The Hurunui, at present discharging Liverpool cargo at Napier, has been delayed by rain, and is now to leave there to-morrow to complete discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. MAUI POMARE DELAYED The Maui Pomare, which was expected to arrive at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon from Apia and Niue, advised on Saturday that she was being delayed by stormy weather, and would not arrive until this morning.
