MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS
• ❖ WOMAN SERIOUSLY iX.JIKEI) Mrs James le Comtc, agocl about 70 years, of Martins road, Addington, was picked up at the side of Drain road in Tai Tapu at 1.20 yesterday morning by Mrs Dalgcty, of Langley Dale, Tai Tapu, and taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital. She had severe head and back injuries, and yesterday afternoon her condition was serious. Mrs ]e Comte received her injuries when a car driven by George Hill, a married man, of Horotane Valley, Heath- : cotc, capsized, into a ditch at the side of the road. Other passengers in the > ear were Mr.s Hill, and a Mr and 5 Mrs Mcllroy, but they were uninjured.
