ONE-LEGGED ATHLETICS
+ WELSHMAN'S CHALLENGE LONDON, February 4. Idris Lewis, a one-legged Welsh boxer, has issued a challenge to any other one-legged men to box six rounds, swim, and cycle six miles, play tennis and 600 up at billiards to decide the championship of Wales. He says that there are few villages in his principality without several men who have lost a leg in a colliery disaster or at the war. Most of them indulge in sport to keep fit.
