SUCCESSFUL RESTOCKING IN RUSSIA
IMPRESSIVE FIGURES MOSCOW, February 4. -M. Chernov, Commissar for Agriculture, reports a great improvement in stock breeding. The number of cattle at January 1, 1935, showed an increase of 31 per cent, compared with January 1, 1933. Pigs increased by 118 per cent., and sheep and goats by 11 per cent. The Government plans to provide 70,000 new collective cattle-breeding farms in 1935.
