"India refuses to be spoon-fed any longer," said Mr Bulaghai Desai, of the Congress party, leader of the Opposition, moving a resolution urging the Viceroy to advise the British Government not to proceed with its proposed reforms. The Legislative Assemblv will spend three days on the debate on the reform. " Mr Desai said that war-time promises to India had been forgotten, repudiated, and whittled down.
