FAILURE OF PRODUCE FIRM
#— SHAREHOLDER'S FORTUNE FOR CREDITORS (■Received February 6, 1.5 a.m.) LONDON, February 5. The "Daily Express'' says that a deed of assignment registered at the Board of Trade secures the personal fortune of Mr E. A. Strauss, M.P., principal shareholder in the big produce firm which lias just failed, to a committee representing the creditors. It shows a total liability of £1,946', 168, including assessments in respect of excess profits duty, under appeal, about £500,000. The value of Mr Strauss's property included in Hie deed is £283,382.
