Sir,—ln reading the daily paper I have been concerned about the number of murders and suicides in New Zealand, and I have wondered what the percentage is to population, and how does it compare with other countries? I would be obliged if any of your readers can give this information through your paper. * (1) Comparative figures of murders in this country and others; (2) of suicides; (3) of annual entry into mental hospitals, as compared with other countries.—Yours, etc., INTERESTED.
