RIFLE SHOOTING
CHRISTCHURCH DEFENCE CLUB The Christchurch Defence Rifle Olub fired a long range competition at Tai Tapu on Saturday afternoon with 10 shots each at 800 and 900 yards. Conditions were very tricky, and with an inferior issue of ammunition misses off the target were of frequent occurrence. The winner was S. I).
