INFECTIOUS DISEASES

Ten notifications of infectious disease were received from Canterbury bv the Health Department last week. A clean bill of health was returned from the West Coast. The 10 Canterbury cases comprised one each of scarlet fever, pneumonic influenza, and puerperal sepsis, two of septicaemia, and five of tuberculosis. Three deaths, all from tuberculosis were reported from Canterbury.
