On Saturday some 50 made the journey by bus. and a few more bv bicycle. It is expected that there will be 60 to 65 boys in camp over the Christmas period. The advance party had been at work for the previous 10 days and reported that everything was in readiness at the camp. The next contingent will leave Christchurch on December 29, and at weekly intervals thereafter. There has this year been a particularly large number of applications, and no more can be considered until after January 12.
