BRITISH TRADE MISSION TO EAST
SOME OUTLETS FOR CAPITAL SEEN (BRITISH OFFICIAL, WIRELESS.) (Received December 23, 7.5 p.m.) RUGBY, December 21. Reports have been presented by the unofficial mission sent out by the Federation of British Industries to Japan and Manchuria in th? autumn. The report contains an emphatic disclaimer that the mission had any political object and while stating that the attitude adopted toward foreign oil interests, which have already invested so heavily in Manchuria, is the reverse of ■ encouraging, sees certain directions where British industry might share in the provision of capital and goods to territory now rapidly being developed. ■
