ARMS EMBARGO BROKEN
BRITAIN ASKS LEAGUE TO ACT (BKITISU OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, December 21. The British Government has communicated to the Advisory Committee of the League of Nations dealing with the Gran Chaco war information in its possession which shows that both the belligerents (Paraguay and Bolivia) are receiving munitions. Details are given, and the British Government asks the committee to take such steps as it considers appropriate to ensure maintenance of the arms embargo agreed to recently. The matter will be discussed by the committee to-day.
