PROPOSED NEW SOCIETY
FRIENDS OF THE CATHEDRAL "Considerable interest has been shown in the proposal made to the Cathedral Chapter by Canon A. H. Norris to form a society of 'Friends of the Cathedral,'" says the "Church News." "Mr George Harper has drawn up a draft of a constitution for the society, with a view to its probable incorporation, and a preliminary meeting of those interested is to be called in February, when the community has recovered from the excitement of the Duke's visit."
