FAMOUS FIFTY YEARS AGO
The following letter could have been written yesterday, but it was actually dated March 6, 1878:—"My family is particularly liable to chest affections. ' We have found Baxter's Lung Preserver a most excellent remedy. So highly do we esteem it that we do not like to be without it in the house. For the last 15 years not only my own family, but many friends to whom 1 have recommended it have found great benefit from it. For bronchitis I know nothing equal to it." This is one of Ihe many letters on the files of A. and W. Baxter, Ltd. Note that at the time it was written "Baxter's" was already an old-established line. It is a marvellous tribute to the qualities of "Baxter's" that to-day, more than 50 years after the above letter was written, "Baxter's" is more than ever the most popular cough remedy in New Zealand. "Baxter's'" has numerous advantages, including its suitability for all ages, its wonderful palatability, its prompt, penetrating action, and its valuable tonic properties.
