. «, PROCESSION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Yesterday afternoon Bishop Brodie, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Christchurch, officiated at the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament, organised by f he sisters at Nazareth House. The occasion was a brilliant one; the children were in their white robes, the sisters in their blue choir cloaks, and the clergy wore full vestmenK ±ne most impressive part of the procession took place in the Rosarv walk, wr.ere the scene was magnificent Music was provided by the band of the eP K>u Bo / s ' Hom e. and thesinging which alternated with the recital of the decades of the Rosary, was also led by these bovs The public took no actual part in the ceremony, but the spectacle was witnessed by an exceptionally large number of onlookers.
