NEW TEKAPO CHURCH
♦ FOUNDATION STONE TO BE LAID BY DUKE The Duke of Gloucester is to lay the foundation stone of the new church to be erected at Lake Tekapo on Wednesday, January 18, according to advice received by the Rev. W. E. Davies, vicar of Fajrlie, from the Under-Secretary for. Internal Affairs (Mr Malcolm Fraser). Preliminary work on the founds tions of the church, which has been designed by Mr R. S. D. Harnian, has already begun.
