DUTCHMAN CRITICISES BRITISH AIRCRAFT
♦ MAY BUILD DOUGLASES IN ENGLAND (Received No/ember 16, 1.40 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, November 15. Mr Anthony Fokker admitted that negotiations were taking place in, England, directed to building 'fifith Fokker and Douglas aeroplanes there. A site for the factory had not yet been ■ chosen, though certain towns were favourably regarded. Politics would play an important part in his plans, he said. England was now only realising how fatshe was behind in aircraft manufacture. The capacity and construction of certain types of machines built in Amsterdam was unknown in England.
