LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION
♦ VISIT OF DOMINION PRESIDENT At the recent monthly meeting of ths council of the Christchurch branch of the League of Nations Union a letter was read from the Dominion Secretary stating that the Dominion President, the Rev. F. H. Wilkinson, of Wellington, would be visiting Christchurch on November 21 and 22. The secretary reported that it had been arranged for Mr Wilkinson to speak at the annual general meeting to be held in the Young Women's Christian Association rooms on Wednesday, November 21. It was also being arranged that he should speak at some of the Christchurch secondary schools. The distribution of the first 2000 copies of the League of Nations school book is now completed, books having been presented to all the primary schools of the central area. The branch hopes to order more books in the near future.
