FORMER AUSTRALIAN CRICKETER
COMMENT ON RECENT TESTS (PRESS ASSOCIATION TZLEGBAM.) WELLINGTON, November 15. An arrival by the lonic from Eng land this afternoon was Mr T. R. Mc Kibbin, a former Australian represer tative cricketer. He was a membe of the ninth Australian team, whic toured England in 1896, and he als played in New Zealand that year. On the English tour he topped th bowling averages, taking 101 wickel at an average cost of 14.26 runs wicket. Mr McKibbin's visit to England cc incided with the tour of the lates Australian eleven.
"Our fellows outplayed them," h said, referring to the tests, "and the were unlucky to lose that match i As to Bradman, he said: "The mai was ill, and his form had been a bi in and out for a time; but once h got going he was wonderful, and mad a mess of the whole business fror the Englishmen's point of view. Pons ford batted better than ever. His bat ting was beautiful." Mr McKibbin, with Mrs McKibbii sailed for Sydney to-night.
