AUSTRALIAN COTTON TARIFF
ALTERATIONS POSSIBLE (Received November 13, "1.5 a.m.) CANBERRA, November 32. The Cabinet considered the new tariff schedule to be introduced to Parliament soon. It is understood that Hie cotton duties recently imposed by the Commonwealth Government were reviewed to determine whether an agreement could be reached with Lancashire interests. No decision was reached, but it is possible that certain alterations will be made to meet the situation.
