NAVAL DISCUSSIONS
NO SPECIFIC PROPOSALS BY BRITAIN orriu.w, wmrxess.) RUGBY, November 10. No further formal meetings between representatives of the naval powers engaged in Ihe preliminary bilateral conversations in London have so far been arranged but contacts between members of the delegations are being maintained. During the recent exchange of views various suggestions for reaching an agreement between the United States, Japan, and Great Britain were made, but reports that specific and concrete proposals were advanced by the British representatives are inaccurate. The progress and general trend of the discussions have been communicated by the Japanese delegates to Tokyo and press messages from Japan state that the report from the delegation is under consideration.
