OPENING OF CONVENT CHAPEL
CEREMONY AT TEMUKA The new chapel for the Sisters of St Joseph was solemnly blessed and dedicated by Bishop Brodie, on Sunday afternoon, before a large number of former pupils, parishioners and friends. The building, which faces the north, is substantially built of brick, covered with plaster. The plastered interior is finished in a rich shade of cream and the windows are fitted with hammered leadlights. The service was held in the Convent f rounds and presided over by the Rev. ather C. Outtrim, S.M. The Mayor of Temuka, Mr A. W. Buzan, attended. < Those talußfl {tart ta the proceedings
were the Rev. Father J. Spillane, S* a former pupil of the school, Hev. Fathers Kerley and Baruey. former priests of the parish.
