DAMAGES CLAIMED
JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT (PRUSS ASSOCIATION TELEGEAM.) WELLINGTON, November 12. "We find the defendant not guilty on the weight of evidence," announced the foreman of the jury in the Supreme Court to-day at the conclusion of the case in which David Sidney Needham, a motor-body builder, a minor, represented by his guardian ad litem, Arthur Samuel Needham, Government messenger, claimed £738 4s from William Taylor, a City Council employee. Judgment, therefore, went to the defendant with costs. The case resulted from a collision in Wakefield street on May 4 between the plaintiffs motor-cycle and a motorcar driven by the defendant.
