NORTH CANTERBURY MATCH Tho final section of the annual competition between tho North Canterbury Gun Club and the Rangiora Defence Rifle Club was fired on the Rangiora rifle range on Saturday. At the clay bird fihooting a fortnight ago the Rifle Club scored 131 points and the Gun Club 100. On Saturday the Rifle Club scored 249 and tho Gun Club 196, the former winning the competition by 24 points. For the rifle shooting the conditions were eight shots at 500 yards and eight at 200 yards, a target score of five or four counting two points, and three or two as one point.
