SHORTER WORKING WEEK IN ITALY
ATTEMPT TO INCREASE EMPLOYMENT ROME, November 5. An agreement for a 44-hour working week throughout Italy was reached at the Fascist Confederation of Employers and Workers as an effort to offset the consequences of unemployment. An attempt will also be made to employ men instead of young girls.
