MRS EDDY'S DISCOVERY
TO TH* SDITOR 0» THE PII«SS. Sir, —The account of Miss Margaret Murney Glenn's lecture on Christian Science in "The Press" this morning concludes with this sentence, "Mrs Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, not only discovered but proved that love was the divine principle," etc. So Mrs Mary Baker Eddy discovered this! What about the Man of Nazareth? I think we can go back in history to find the discoverer of this great truth. I do not wish to write against Christian Science, but I do think that its work would have shown even greater results if Mrs Baker Eddy had not tried to better the Bible. We are plainly told in Revelations 22.19 that the book was not to be altered. — Yours, etc., D.G. November 6, 1934.
