DEATH OF CYCLIST
INQUEST ADJOURNED Mr Charles Graham Chittenden, aged 60 years, of 2§ Leinster road, who was picked up in Harper avenue near the Carlton Mill bridge in ah unconscious condition on October 8, died in the Public Hospital yesterday morning. It is thought that he was riding a bicycle when he collided with a motor-car driven by Mr O. J. Wilson. An inquest was opened at the hospital last evening before Mr E. D. Mosley, coroner. After evidence of identification had been given by Mr Edward Henry Davies, departmental manager at A. J. Whites, Ltd., where Chittenden was employed, the hearing was adjourned sine die.
