MEETING OF CANTERBURY SOCIETY A meeting of the Canterbury Cob and Pony Society was held last evenini', when there was a good attendance of members. Mr J. Parlane presided. The chairman reported that at the various shows in Canterbury last year the entries of ponies had increased, while the quality of the entries had also improved. Great interest was maintained by the juveniles In all the classes, including tne Nydfa Cup compeThe>rvarlous show schedules were discussed, and it was decided to make donations to the prize money of the 1 local Canterbury shows. ft was suggested that a sports jneetin? for children should be held about the middle of December.
