FROZEN AUSTRALIAN FLOWERS
EXHIBITION IN CALIFORNIA (Received August 28, 7.50 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, August 27. Fourteen blocks of Western Australian iced flowers arrived for ex hibition at a flower show in Oak land in September. At the city hall to-day Miss Barbara O'Connor presented the Mayor (Mr Angela Rossi) with a block. The Mayor expressed his delight with the perfection of the flowers, and said the event was unique in the history oi California, which proposed to reciprocate and send Californian poppies to Australia.
