M£W ZEALAND ASSOCIATION MAN AG EMENT COMMITTEE The management committee of the Zealand Hockey Association met last evening. There were present Messrs H. S. J. Goodman (chairman). C. C. Holland, ft. Gracie, C. S. Bellamy, H. Throp. P. N. Quartermain, W. 'H. Down, S. G. Holland, I. Gunn, and F. Preston. The Geraldine Sub-Association wrote *hat Mr A. W. Stead, who had been appointed as one referee for the Geraldine v. Australia match, was unable to act, and Mr W. A. Stead was appointed in his place. Mr W. H. Down, who was appointed •to welcome the visiting Australian hockey team at Auckland on behalf of the New Zealand Hockey Association submitted a report on the early portion of the North Island tour. Mr 'Down referred at some length to the Maori welcome at Otaki, which was much appreciated by the visitors. Messrs H. S. J. Goodman and W. H. Down were appointed to represent the New Zealand Association at the t,inner given by the Canterbury Hc-e----):ev Association to the Australian t°arn. The Canterbury Association advised that Messrs L. F. N. Ward and A. L. Graham were appointed to ret resent the Canterbury Association at 'ne official dinner given by the New "ealand Association on Monday. Sepruber 3.
