CREYMOUTH PERSONAL fii-ECTiI. TO THE MM6R.I GREYMOUTH, August 10. Miss K. Higgins, Alexander street, has left, on a visit to Christchurch. Mr G. Searle, Hari Hari, is visiting Ch'-istchurch. Mr A. A. Adams underwent a successful operation at Ngarana on Wednesday afternoon, was to-day reported to be in a satisfactory condition. Mr P. J. McLean has left on a visit to Christchurch, Presentation Mr C. Mason, who was recently married, was yesterday met by members of the Railways Department at Greymouth and presented with an electric kettle. New Water Main 1 The meter for the pumping station at Omoto has arrived and the work of connecting the 12-inch water main for the Greymouth water supply will now be proceeded with. Kerbing and channelling in Brunner street, borough council works, were to-day completed, and the footpath graded in conformity, and a start has been made, with the sealing of the asphalt footpath and roading in Boundary street. Hockey Representatives The selector, Mr G. All reserve players will be given a trial during the game. WeddingThe wedding was celebrated in St. Johns Church, Greymouth, of Miss Luraine Currie, daughter of Mr and Mrs B. Currie, Blaketown, and Mr David Gordon, youngest son of Mr J. and the late Mrs Gordon, Blaketown. The Rev. H. R. Fell performed the ceremony. Miss Rita Price was bridesmaid and Mr J. Traffe best man. A reception after the ceremony was held in Moore's Hall.
