MISS KIORE KING
TO VISIT CALIFORNIA Miss Kiore King, producer for the Canterbury Repertory Theatre Society, has been granted leave of absence until early next year. She will leave Christchurch on April 5 fur Wellington on her way to Hawkc's Bay. where .she will visit her father in Hastings, and her aunt, Miss Fulton, at Havelock North. Early in May she will leave tor Auckland and on May 5 she will join (lie Monterey for California, where she will spend the winter months. A jumble sale embracing every form of goods from boots and shoes to fancy goods and books will be conducted by the Young Women's Christian Association in the Choral Hall this evening at ti.;iU. Admission tickets will be sold bclorehand and during the sale tea and biscuits will be ;o!d f<>r ore l>e;iry.
