CHRISTADELPHIANS
TO TUB aniTOR OF THE P*f.3h. Sir, —I was pleased to rend Mr Green's account of Christadelphianism, and witliont any desire to be controversial, I should like to ask your correspondent one or two questions. It is pleasing to note the interest people an,- taking in religious topics at the present day, and the frank and open discussion on these matters certainly docs a great deal of good. If the Scriptures, which few people nowadays look upon as verbally inspired by God, arc the only means of salvation, why lias another religious sect sprung into being? Why cannot a person believing so follow his conscience in this matter without belonging to a special society? I have no doubt these good people carry out Our Lord's injunctions in the Sermon on the Mount to give alms, and to pray, but do they carry out the third, namely, fasting? Do they have special ministers to conduct their services? Do they keep Ihe memorial of the Lord's death, the Breaking of the Bread? And finally, who was the founder of Christadelphianism? I sincerely hope Mr Green will answer these questions, so that my woeful ignorance may be dispelled.— Yours, etc., JOANNES. February 12, I!W4.
