A large haul of flounders and soles was made by a party at Kai Iwi beach, Wanganui, last week, when Mr E. P. V. Sealy, manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, was able to point to more than 800 flsh as his "bag" for less than two hours with the net. Seven casts were made with the net, which is about 100 ft long. One cast resulted in 217 fish being netted, while another brought in 187 of various sizes.
